Day 02 · King James Version
Today’s Scripture
Psalm 27:14 (KJV)
“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart:”
A Message for Your Heart
Waiting can make even a hopeful heart tired. We pray, look for change, and wonder why the answer has not come.
Psalm 27 gives us a command that is both gentle and courageous: wait on the LORD. Waiting is not pretending that we have no questions. It is continuing to look toward the One whose character is trustworthy.
While you wait, there is still faithfulness to practice: a kind word, an honest prayer, a needed rest, a task done with care. Ask God to strengthen your heart for this day rather than demanding to see the whole road.
A Moment to Reflect
What faithful step is possible while you wait?
Today’s Prayer
Lord, strengthen my heart when waiting feels long. Give me courage to trust You and wisdom to live faithfully today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Carry This With You
Waiting can be a place where courage grows.
