Day 19 · King James Version
Today’s Scripture
Psalm 56:3-4 (KJV)
“What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.”
A Message for Your Heart
Fear can arrive suddenly: a phone call, a medical appointment, an unfamiliar responsibility. The heart races ahead of what we know.
David does not deny that he is afraid. He says that when fear comes, he will trust in God. Trust is a response we can choose even while the feeling remains.
Name the fear without shame. Take sensible precautions, seek support if needed, and pray for courage. Faith and wise action can walk together.
A Moment to Reflect
What fear can you name honestly before God?
Today’s Prayer
Lord, when I am afraid, teach me to trust You. Give me a clear mind and courage for the next right action. Amen.
Carry This With You
Fear can be met with prayer and wise courage.
