📖 What We’re Reading

Job 41:1–11 — Leviathan cannot be domesticated

🌱 What These Verses Teach Us

The Lord asks whether Job can catch leviathan or turn it into a servant or plaything. The creature's danger underscores human limits. God then points beyond that danger to his own authority and ownership of everything under heaven. Job owes the Creator no prior gift that places God in his debt.

Job 41:25–34 — Beyond human weapons

🌱 What These Verses Teach Us

Weapons fail against the creature in the continuing portrait. Its movement stirs the deep, and the chapter ends with its fearlessness and height above other creatures. This display does not teach cruelty or invite a dangerous encounter; it brings God's questions about human power to a striking close.

Key Truth: Human strength is limited before the Creator's works.
