📖 What We’re Reading

Genesis 5:1–5 — Adam and Seth

🌱 What These Verses Teach Us

Genesis 5 begins the written record of Adam’s generations. It recalls that God created man in His likeness, created male and female, blessed them, and called their name Adam. Adam later fathers Seth in his own likeness and after his image. Adam lives 930 years, and the passage closes his record with the repeated words, “and he died.”
