Strength for One More Step — Daily Devotional 10

Day 10 · King James Version

Today’s Scripture

Isaiah 40:29-31 (KJV)

“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.”

A Message for Your Heart

There are seasons when ordinary tasks feel like steep hills. Energy is low, and even a simple decision takes effort.

Isaiah reminds God’s people that human strength has limits, but the LORD is not exhausted. Waiting upon Him means turning toward the source of strength rather than pretending we have none of our own limitations.

Do what is yours to do, and rest when you need rest. Ask God for help, accept assistance graciously, and resist the urge to compare your pace with someone else’s.

A Moment to Reflect

Where do you need strength rather than self-criticism?

Today’s Prayer

Lord, I am limited, but You are not. Supply the strength and patience I need for today’s work. Amen.

Carry This With You

I can ask for strength for the next step.
