Day 04 · King James Version
Today’s Scripture
Mark 4:39-40 (KJV)
“Peace, be still.”
A Message for Your Heart
The disciples were on the water when the wind rose and fear took hold. They knew the waves were real; they also had not yet grasped the full authority of the One with them.
Jesus spoke, and the storm obeyed. This account points us to His authority, not to a promise that every hardship will vanish on our preferred timetable.
When life feels stormy, tell the Lord what frightens you. Seek practical help where needed, and remember that Christ is worthy of trust even when the weather has not changed.
A Moment to Reflect
What storm are you facing, and how can you bring it honestly to Jesus?
Today’s Prayer
Lord Jesus, calm the fear within me and guide me through what I cannot control. Teach me to trust Your authority and care. Amen.
Carry This With You
The storm is not greater than the Lord of the storm.
