Day 28 · King James Version
Today’s Scripture
1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
A Message for Your Heart
Some worries stay with us from morning until night. We turn them over repeatedly, hoping that thinking harder will make them disappear.
Peter calls believers to cast their cares upon God because He cares for them. This invitation is rooted in humility: we are not asked to carry every burden as though we were in control.
Pray specifically about what troubles you. Then take the practical step you can take, whether that is seeking advice, making a plan, or resting. Entrust what remains to the Lord.
A Moment to Reflect
Which care have you been carrying alone?
Today’s Prayer
Father, I bring You my worries. Teach me to act responsibly and release what I cannot control into Your care. Amen.
Carry This With You
I can bring my cares to the One who cares for me.
