1 / FOLLOW THE PEACE TRAIL
Say: What changes between the first and last
picture?
Do: Write a clue letter under each panel; name
one visible clue.
Check: Panels 1-3: C, A, B. Herdmen quarrel (v.
7); Abram offers a choice (vv. 8-9); Lot chooses
the plain and travels east (vv. 10-11).
2 / SOLVE THE LAND CHOICE
Say: Can you complete both possible routes?
Do: Fill the two directions, then circle the first
chooser.
Check: RIGHT; LEFT. If Lot takes the left, Abram
will go right; if Lot goes right, Abram will go left.
Abram lets Lot choose first.
3 / PEACEFUL-CHOICE CARDS
Say: Try a plan that gives both teams a voice.
Do: Choose one move per row; rehearse the plan
with a partner.
Check: PAUSE; TAKE TURNS; AGREE. These are
original applications, not steps quoted from
Genesis. Seek adult help if a dispute feels unsafe.
4 / MAKE ROOM THIS WEEK
Say: What could you share fairly?
Do: Write a few words or explain your plan aloud.
Check: Open response: share a table using
separate spaces, or take turns with a game.
Accept any safe, practical plan with calm words
and a fair choice.
5 / REMEMBER
Say: read the exact W1/CG1 verse.
Do: echo unchanged phrases.
Check: follow the printed KJV words; listening
counts.
PLAY TOGETHER
Use two scrap-paper campsite labels. Partner A
chooses LEFT or RIGHT; partner B names Abram's
other direction. Swap, then retell why separation
helped.
Check: LEFT -> RIGHT; RIGHT -> LEFT. The land
could not support both households together (v. 6);
strife had arisen (v. 7).
FLEXIBLE LEARNING
For support: Read aloud, pair-read, offer pointing
or a scribe; model one clue. Allow extra time.
Extra challenge, optional: After Lot leaves, what
does God tell Abram to look at in verses 14-15?
Answer: The land in every direction: north, south,
east and west; God promises it to Abram and his
seed. This is God's promise to Abram, not a
promise of land to every learner.
SHORT LESSON / HOMESCHOOL
20-minute essentials: welcome 3; reading 5; tasks
1 and 4 for 6; verse 4; recap/prayer 2. Other tasks
optional.
30-60 minutes: add puzzles, game, retelling and
fuller reading; take breaks.
TAKE HOME & CHECK
With someone at home, practise a calm sharing
sentence. Echo the memory verse in unchanged
phrases.
Quick check: Who offered first choice, and how
could that help peace?
Optional praise: thank God for today’s learning;
no music needed.
Teacher reflection: Revisit: __________
ACCURACY & CARE
Lot is Abram's nephew, not his brother. No map
borders are supplied by this puzzle. Peace does
not require giving up safety; learners may ask a
trusted adult for help.
