1 / WALL-BUILDER’S STORY TRAIL
Say: Find the stage shown in each panel.
Do: Add a stage letter below each picture.
Check: Panels 1-3: B, A, C. Inspection at night:
2:12-15; encouragement: 2:17-18; rebuilding: 4:6;
prayer/watch: 4:9. The final panel combines
actions from the reading, not one recorded
instant.
2 / BUILD THE WORK MESSAGE
Say: Write each solved word on the line beneath
its brick.
Do: Write each word, then find it in the memory
verse.
Check: PEOPLE / MIND / WORK. Verse 6 links the
work to the people having a mind to work. These
are selected words; read the full KJV verse
unchanged.
3 / CHOOSE THE NEXT MOVE
Say: Choose a route through the three challenges.
Do: Circle one option on each trail step.
Check: Broken wall: inspect it (2:13), rather than
guess. Shared task: invite helpers (2:17-18),
rather than do it alone. Threats: pray AND keep
watch (4:9), rather than ignore danger.
4 / YOUR TEAM’S MINI-PLAN
Say: What small jobs could a team share?
Do: Write three short job labels; no actual building
is needed.
Check: Open response: fair, safe jobs such as sort
pencils, gather paper, check the floor, or ask an
adult about heavy items. Connect shared work to
2:18; each helper has a real role.
5 / REMEMBER
Say: read the exact verse on W1 and CG1.
Do: partners echo one unchanged phrase at a
time; join phrases if ready.
Check: use the printed KJV words. Hearing and
joining in are valid participation.
PLAY TOGETHER
Partners retell one comic panel each, then check
activity 1 and the passage. Swap roles.
Check: Use activity 1’s panel key. Accept faithful
summaries; pictured appearances are not verified
Bible facts.
FLEXIBLE LEARNING
For support: pair-read, read directions aloud, offer
pointing or a scribe; solve the first clue together.
Do not score speed or handwriting.
Extra challenge, optional: Why did the people
keep watch as well as pray?
Answer: There was a real threat (4:7-9). They
prayed to God and also took a practical
precaution.
SHORT LESSON / HOMESCHOOL
20-minute essentials: welcome/story 3; shared
reading 5; activities 1 and 4 for 6; verse 4;
recap/prayer 2. Other puzzles are optional.
30-60 minutes: add remaining puzzles, partner
retelling, the game and fuller reading; include
breaks.
TAKE HOME & CHECK
Tell the story in three steps. Name one way your
family can help one another with a shared task.
Quick check: Can the learner name the wall and
both responses in 4:9?
Optional praise: a spoken thank-you to God; no
music required.
Teacher reflection: enjoyed / needed help / revisit.
Next time: ______________
ACCURACY & CARE
The wall is only at half-height in 4:6. Do not turn
classmates into enemies or stage combat. All
classroom planning uses paper, not construction
tools.
