Prayer Printables · Free KJV learning
A Scripture-led prayer rhythm with space for honest reflection.
Use a KJV Bible and a notebook. Read the linked passage before using each prompt. The prayers you write are your own words, not additions to Scripture. You may keep names and personal details on paper instead of entering them online. Allow 10–15 minutes a day.
- Begin with God’s honour. Read Matthew 6:9–10 (KJV). Notice whose name, kingdom, and will come first. Write a prayer that begins with worship before listing requests. Ask how your plans might need to change.
- Bring ordinary needs. Read Matthew 6:11 (KJV), then the surrounding model prayer. Name a real need for today. Distinguish that need from a wish for control over every future circumstance. Consider whether you can help meet someone else’s ordinary need.
- Confess honestly. Read Matthew 6:12–15 (KJV). Acknowledge a wrong without explaining it away. Consider a fitting step of repentance. Forgiveness language should not be used to pressure someone to conceal harm or abandon necessary boundaries.
- Ask for wisdom. Read James 1:2–8 (KJV). Identify the connection between trials, patience, and asking God. Describe the decision before you. Pray for wisdom, then record which facts you still need to learn.
- Bring anxiety with thanksgiving. Read Philippians 4:4–9 (KJV). Name a concern and a reason for gratitude. Notice that the passage also addresses thought and practice; write one good action you can take today.
- Remember other people. Read John 15:9–17 (KJV). Consider love expressed through obedience and care. Pray for someone whose needs you know, without making assumptions about private circumstances. Decide whether a gentle offer of practical help would be welcome.
- Look back with thanks. Read Psalm 100 (KJV). Note the calls to worship and the reasons given. Review the week without measuring prayer by dramatic outcomes. Record a request that remains open, a kindness noticed, and a way to keep praying.
A reusable notebook pattern
Date · KJV passage · What I noticed · Thanks · Confession · Requests · One response. Leave space to revisit a request later. Do not label a coincidence as a certain message from God; distinguish what Scripture says from your interpretation of events.
When words are difficult
Read a small part of the passage slowly. You can pray briefly and quietly. This resource is an invitation to turn toward God, not a test of how eloquently or how long you can pray.
