Day 05 · King James Version
Today’s Scripture
Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
A Message for Your Heart
Weariness is not always visible. Sometimes we keep smiling while our thoughts feel tangled and our strength runs thin.
Jesus invites the weary to come to Him. His words are not a demand to prove our worth by working harder. They are an invitation to learn from Him and find rest for our souls.
Take a few unhurried minutes today to pray. Lay aside the need to impress anyone. Let the invitation of Christ call you to humble trust and a gentler pace.
A Moment to Reflect
What burden have you been carrying as though you must bear it alone?
Today’s Prayer
Dear Jesus, I come weary and in need of Your rest. Teach me to follow You with a humble heart and to receive Your guidance. Amen.
Carry This With You
The weary are invited to come to Jesus.
