📖 What We’re Reading

2 Kings 10:1–17 — Ahab’s house is destroyed

🌱 What These Verses Teach Us

Jehu’s letters lead Samaria’s leaders to kill Ahab’s sons. Further killings follow, including Ahaziah’s relatives. Jehonadab joins Jehu, who speaks of his zeal. The fulfillment language must be read alongside the severe human cost and Jehu’s own accountability.

Key Truth: Claims of zeal do not put a person beyond moral examination.
